Our Story
Midwest Pepper Heads LLC is a local Eastern Wisconsin hot sauce company specializing in small batch, hand crafted sauces with a unique blend of heat and flavor. We (Tim and Austin) have been crafting and perfecting recipes since 2018. As a local small business we are constantly seeking partnerships in the area. We started making our sauces after years of pickling and canning. We figured why spend so much on a bottle of hot sauce that is mostly vinegar, or is a caustic face-melter. Midwest Pepper Heads is dedicated to sourcing the most consistently fresh ingredients and never adding artificial additives. As our small business expands into shipping nationwide we are committed to the reduction of single use plastics. Every product we use to ship our products is either 100% recyclable or compostable. Built from a passion project to create hot sauce just for ourselves, Midwest Pepper Heads has grown and continues to grow thanks to our amazing customers.
We knew this was the path when we were unable to satiate the constant barrage for more and more bottles of our fine sauces from our friends, family, and co-workers. The benefits of working for ourselves and creating a product we were both proud to put our stamp on has been very rewarding. After our first successful summer at a local farmer's market we decided to form our LLC and focus our time and effort into expansion.
Simply put; seeing people enjoy our sauces as much as we do is why we are in this. Starting a small business has its challenges, but watching it grow, marking off high value goals, and receiving the feedback of our loyal (and new) customers are really what makes it worthwhile.

Our Artist
Rachel Knuth was born and raised in Sheboygan, Wisconsin where she and Austin met in grade school. Their continued friendship led them to collaborate on the label designs for Midwest Pepper Heads LLC.
Rachel’s artwork reflects her style and ours with its unique and personalized pencil-sketched style. The doodle-like depictions and characters are illustrative of the flavors and the personality of the sauces as well as the sauciers (Tim and Austin).
